Dan just finished his ThM thesis oral defense, he passed! It was a two hour defense with Dr. Vanhoozer and Dr. McCall. He will have about half a day of clean up work to do on the thesis as requested by the professors, then he will be officially done with the thesis. All that is left is waiting for the result of the comprehensive exam. He came home after the oral defense, feeling a bit lost, everything, as far as his ThM program is concerned, is almost done. Sure he still have lots of things to do in other aspects in his life, but the ThM is done.
For me, it is a huge relief. We are, again, waiting for Kioni to wake up, then we will go to Cheesecaske Factory for an early dinner to celebrate this date that we have anticipated for so long. I take today off, need to stay home with Kioni when Dan was at school.
